how much does it cost and does all that stuff come with it ?

I noticed that this video is dated Jan 2021 and I just bought my machine (July 2024). It took me 4 years to manifest and dream about my Bernette. I love my machine and know that I will get the best out of it every moment that I will use it. Definitely a sturdy and robust machine.

the point of this is to show us where to lay the thread but your camera angle doesn't show that. That's the most important part for how you lay the thread so this tutorial wasn't any help for me.

Mine must be faulty then. I just got it today and when I press the heel for reverse it lights up the tie off light on the machine and ties off the thread. I've reset it 4 times and that's what it does. I have to press it twice to get it to reverse. I am very unhappy.

So far I have found all your videos very helpful. In this one if you could slow down a bit that would be great. Do you have any videos with the newer version of firmware? Also, could you show us what to do it our computer doesn't exactly do what yours is doing. For example, I have tried to follow this latest video to the letter, but I cannot for the life of me get the next row of stitching to highlight. Please explain what the different colors mean- black, red, blue. I know these are very basic questions but it would be helpful. Yes, with a Bernina, the challenges are 99% the operator. lol Love your videos, I just purchased my Q-matic and cannot get into classes until Sept. of this year

I am not a quilter, I do mostly Embroidery, and I am learning now Free Hand Motion Embroidery on my Bernina B830 LE and Artista 640E machines, and have never used the BSR on them. You mentioned that you can do Thread Painting with the BSR, could you tell me if the BSR foot could also be used to do Free Hand Motion Embroidery using the tight Zig-zag stitch setting? I will appreciate that!!!! Thanks again and keep on doing videos like this!!!!

I absolutely love your videos. Much better than Bernina's videos. Maybe you can show what to do if you make a mistake. I thought I followed to the the T on his video, but when I try to sew, I get an error message that the design is outside the safe area and there is nothing queued. My first 2 top rows are highlighted, but I keep getting the same error message. Help

Al, what is the logic for 5 stiches per inch basting stitch? Is it something you do when using a certain thread brand/ type or cloth type that may stretch more? Or something else? I could also see size of quilt having something that may have something that could contribute to this decision too.

Why aren’t you embroidering before sewing it together so the back stitches are hidden?

Our Bernina Studio 10' Frame has unmarked leaders. They only say Top, Bottom, and Take Up. We have to 'guess' where the center is on all the leaders. Any idea why? Also, our frame's Top rail doesn't fold up like your model does....that would have been handy. But, don't get me started on how poorly the Q16+ performs! Constant jams!

Thanks for describing the free motion foot! My Pfaff 7550 is old and was my Grandma's...well, the instruction book just called it a darning foot and I was confused. But it functions the way you said and further googling shows it's the right one!

You misled your audience. This was supposed to showcase why we should use a 5 thread machine but instead it’s a commercial for Babylock.

1/3/24: Happy New Year! While I do not have your type of sewing machine, I have a Husqvarna, I'm new to the embroidery game and have been educating myself on how to do many things and I'd like to try my hand at embroidering pillowcases. I got a lot out of your video in terms of center placement, letter sizing, the topper (did you use the heat or wash away?), etc., and how to work the stabilizer. Thank you so much for this very informative tutorial. I enjoyed it. 😊

Basically is a rebadge singer? Looks the same, same knob, reverse button same stitch plate and control pedal, and motor, sounds the same. Just like 4452 and 44s singer. And i think is made in the same country. Thanks por reading my comparisons.
